NEW YORK (AP) -- Bolivia's Jaime Moreno, D.C. United's career scoring leader, and three Washington teammates were added to the MLS Eastern Conference All-Star team Friday, giving the InterAmerican Cup champions half of the 20 roster spots.
D.C. and East coach Thomas Rongen also selected United midfielder Richie Williams and defenders Carlos Llamosa and Diego Sonora of Argentina to join the six team members announced as starters Thursday.
Tom Presthus will start in goal behind D.C. defenders Jeff Agoos and Eddie Pope, midfielders Ben Olsen and Marco Etcheverry of Bolivia, and forward Roy Lassiter. The starters were selected by fan balloting.
Also named as reserves for the East were Italian goalkeeper Walter Zenga of New England, Brian Maisonneuve and Poland's Robert Warzycha of the Columbus Crew in the midfield, and Revolution and U.S. national team forward Joe-Max Moore.
Defender Leo Cullen was selected as the lone representative from the Miami Fusion.
For the Western Conference, Colorado and Western Conference coach Glenn "Mooch" Myernick chose three members of the Galaxy as reserves, giving Los Angeles four players on the side.
Joining starting midfielder Cobi Jones will be defender Robin Fraser, midfielder Mauricio Cienfuegos of El Salvador, and Mexican forward Carlos Hermosillo, who has scored in three of his four games in MLS since returning from the Mexican league.
Also added for the July 17 game in San Diego were Dallas goalkeeper Matt Jordan, Costa Rican defender Mauricio Wright of San Jose, Colorado midfielders Ross Paule and Paul Bravo, Dallas midfielder Jason Kreis, and Salvadoran forward Ronald Cerritos of the Clash.
