Positives: Tough, cognizant defensive back who is best facing the action. Recognizes and stays with assignments, takes good angles to the action and throws his body around the field. Displays a burst of closing speed, aggressively defends the run and wraps up tackling. Shows good recognition when the ball is in the air. Keeps the action in front of him, quick in all aspects of his game and effectively positions himself to make plays on the ball. Negatives: Lacks deep speed, possesses marginal man-to-man cover skills and struggles when lined up over the slot receiver. Average timing on pass defenses.
