Plays with good awareness, effectively diagnoses the action and remains disciplined with assignments. Effectively uses his hands to protect himself, flows well to the action and displays solid movement skills. Quick out to the sidelines, displaying the ability to make plays to the flanks. Goes hard until the whistle blows.

Negatives: Easily blocked from the action. Displays a limited burst of speed. Not a forceful linebacker.

Analysis: Carder was a consistent college linebacker who does the little things well. He can be productive at the next level if placed in the proper system.
