NEW YORK (AP) - The three runners on U.S. men's Olympic team will compete in a 10K race in Central Park next month.

In a tuneup for the London Games, Meb Keflezighi, Ryan Hall and Abdi Abdirahman will run in the UAE Healthy Kidney 10K on May 12. The participation of the three was announced Tuesday by race organizer New York Road Runners.

Keflezighi won the U.S. Olympic marathon trials in Houston in January. In 2009, he became the first American since Alberto Salazar in 1982 to win the New York City Marathon. Hall and Abdirahman finished second and third at the trials.

The Central Park race is sponsored by the United Arab Emirates Embassy. The first prize of $25,000 is the largest for any 10K race in the world leading to the London Games.
