WALTHAM, Mass. (AP) -- Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley is done for the season.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers says Bradley was scheduled for surgery on his left shoulder Friday and won't return for the rest of the playoffs. That moves Ray Allen back into the starting lineup.

Bradley's shoulder has been popping in and out all season. He has missed the last two games of Boston's Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The 21-year-old Bradley moved into the starting lineup when Allen was injured and stayed there after the future Hall of Famer returned. Rivers said Bradley is one of the keys to Boston's defense.
